The Judging Criteria
The judging panel has been selected to give an impartial, professional and wide-ranging level of expertise and is assembled exclusively from leading healthcare organizations and top business school academics. The awards will be judged on the entry submission of between 1500 and 3000 words and supporting evidence.
The following judging criteria will be applied:
- Clarity of objectives
- Effective resource allocation
- Quality of implementation
- Customer/consumer focus
- Innovation
- Impact on customer perceptions
- Evaluation criteria
- Results
We are looking for you to demonstrate different criteria for each award. Please ensure you read this information before completing the entry form. The decision of the judges in all matters is final and they retain the right to move entries into other categories if appropriate. You may enter as many categories as you wish and there is no limitation on the number of submissions. The Judging Process
Three members of the judging panel assess each shortlisted nomination, independently (up to three submissions for the same category may be graded by the same judge at the same time, to ensure like-for-like comparisons). The judges have all agreed to confidentiality and non-disclosure clauses and extreme care is taken to avoid conflict of interest and affiliation issues.
A numerical scoring system is used to ensure that the judging is objective. Each of the seven sections of the NBTA nomination form has been assigned a designated value, the sum total of which is 100 points. The judges score the responses to the questions posed in those sections according to how well the submission relates to the overall judging criteria and the specific aspects of the individual category. The judge's score, and any comments or critique, is then sent back to the head of the judging panel. The three scores are averaged and the result is stored away ... until it is announced at the NBTA Gala Dinner. |
